According to Binotto, the premises are there to see him with the Prancing Horse come 2023. Unsurprisingly, this has sparked debate over the team’s commitment to Sainz, who has not long walked through the door to replace Sebastian Vettel.

First and foremost, Schumacher must outperform his new Haas teammate, Nikita Mazepin, if he one day hopes to drive for Ferrari.
