Lewis Hamilton has offered a short update on his ride swap with MotoGP legend, Valentino Rossi, hailing his latest two-wheeled test as “the best day ever”.
The pair met in Valencia this week for an event organised by sponsors, although immediate footage and images are yet to be released.
Rossi got his hands on one of the Silver Arrows’ title-winning cars, while Hamilton sampled MotoGP machinery for the first time.
The seven-time premier class world champion on two wheels, Rossi has previously driven Formula 1 cars with Ferrari, while Hamilton tested World Superbikes motorcycles a year ago.
Amid unconfirmed reports that Hamilton might have had a spill on Rossi’s Yamaha, as he had done in his WSBK test a year ago, the F1 champion said the event went off without a hitch.
