Max Verstappen‘s pole position at the Mexican Grand Prix is in doubt after the Red Bull driver was summoned by the stewards over allegedly failing to slow under yellow flags.
The caution flags were waved after Valtteri Bottas crashed at the final corner of the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Q3.
Asked about the incident after the session, Verstappen openly admitted he did not slow down and was aware that Bottas had gone off the track.
Verstappen was given a three-place grid penalty for a similar incident in qualifying for the Russian GP last year.
Does he deserve a stiff sanction again, or should he keep pole position? Have your say below.
