Leclerc replaces Raikkonen at Ferrari in 2019 F1

Charles Leclerc to replace Kimi Raikkonen at Ferrari in 2019 F1 as Sebastian Vettel’s new team-mate., Kimi will race for Sauber F1 team on a two-year deal.

Leclerc confirmed on his Twitter regarding his new job at Ferrari. 38 years old, Finn will be staying in F1 after signing a deal to re-join Sauber for 2019 and 2020.

‘Scuderia Ferrari announces that, at the end of the 2018 season, Kimi Raikkonen will step down from his current role.

‘During these years, Kimi’s contribution to the Team, both as a driver and on account of his human qualities, has been fundamental. He played a decisive role in the team’s growth and was, at the same time, always a great team player.
