Ever since the mannequin challenge became a thing the motorsport world has taken in to heart, with the WEC and Formula E paddocks giving it a go. Well now the WTCC has raised the bar even further with this massive effort at the final round of the season in Qatar.
Most mannequin challenges are meticulously planned to look as good as possible. But the WTCC added an extra dimension by doing their one completely live right before a race is due to start, with people on the grid, in the TV compound, and in the hospitality area all taking part. Of course being live it’s not perfect but simply getting this organised and executed just moments before an actual race is due to start is damn impressive.
